Your donations are greatly needed to help find a cure for and improve living with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease). ALS Association covers all the bases-research, patient & community services, public education & advocacy in providing help & hope to those facing this disease.
Our simple message to patients and their caregivers, family and friends is that you are not alone. Making sure that you can count on the caring, compassionate support of people who understand the daily challenge of living with this disease is our goal.
The ALS Association is dedicated to providing services and education to patients, their families and caregivers while raising funds to support these services and to air researchers in finding a cause, treatment and cure of ALS. We are also dedicated to increasing public awareness for ALS and advocating for assistance at the national and state level.

Curt's Pitch for ALS
Curt and Shonda Schilling are shining stars in the national fight against Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis, commonly known as Lou Gehrig's disease. For more that a decade, the Schillings have devoted themselves to the battle against this progressive neurodegenerative disease that attacks nerve cells and pathways in the brain and spinal cord.
They developed "Curt's Pitch for ALS" in 1993 with hopes that it would improve the quality of life for those affected by the disease.
Curt is now wearing a Boston Red Sox uniform and he and Shonda are as active as ever. Their commitment to the program is so strong that they will be continuing "Curt's Pitch for ALS" with ALS Association Chapters in Arizona, Philadelphia, Massachusetts and New England.
