Most autos donated to Helping Hands of America, are sold retail, not wholesale or dealer only auto auctions, which usually increases the sale price of your auto. This will impact your tax deduction from the donation of your automobile.

You will get a receipt from your choice of charities affiliated with Helping Hands of America immediately upon the pick up of your auto.
You will receive all the proper documents if you choose to use your auto donation as a tax deduction. If you do plan to use your auto donation as a tax deduction, you may want to refer to your local and federal tax regulations.
